connecticut 9:30 tomorrow morning marking the moment one week earlier when bullets ripped through the sandy hook elementary can school. final preparations are being made for tributes to the 26 students and educators who were killed last friday morning at that elementary school. poppy harlow spoke with one of the boyfriends of one of the victims buried today, lauren rousseau. tomorrow morning, 9:30 a.m. eastern, poppy. >> reporter: absolutely, wolf. i mean, this community is still reeling. they are really living minute by minute here trying to get by. lauren rousseau, this beautiful young woman, 30 years old, told her mother that she had wanted to be a teacher since before she was even in kindergarten. she got to live out that dream but her life was cut far too short. >> this says, me, since i've been with you. thanks for rubbing off on me. >> reporter: 30 and in love, tony and lauren rousseau. do you remember the moment that you were in love with her? >> yes. like right -- the first date i had with her i knew. >> reporter: at a wine bar where they shared their first kiss. lauren called him

went into sandy hook elementary. he shot his way in, which was confirmed by authorities yesterday. the principal and school psychologist were in a meeting. when they heard the shots, they rushed to the front door and that is when they were shot down. there were two first grade classrooms. adam lanzas went in. the teacher, hearing the shot, got the children into a bathroom and hid them there. the teacher hid the children inside and 14 children there who were huddled all of them were killed as well as the teacher. going into the next classroom, we are told that the students were all in a closet and that he confronted the teacher there, victoria soto, who was one of the victims and trying to divert him, she said, they are down the hall. they are in another place. six of those children tried to escape hearing that conversation and all of them were killed as well. it is a horrifying scene. the details of which are starting to emerge. those things in this community that is already so heart broken. again, the president coming here tonight to try to help to heal some of those wounds that
